Developed by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC). The certification scheme evaluates the environmental impacts of building materials and quantifies greenhouse gas emissions to identify low-carbon material options. Products are assessed based on GHG emissions in production, human toxicity of substances and the impacts of tile production to the ecosystem.
